'Destination' Phoenix
Austin & Charlie were married March 14th at the beautiful Brophy Chapel in Phoenix, followed by an awesome reception at The Bentley Projects Gallery. A unique downtown gallery specializing in Contemporary Art, not to mention an amazing location for a wedding reception!
Austin and Charlie, both originally from Phoenix were high school sweet-hearts, they went their separate ways to college and as all true love stories end, they found each other again many years later. What a story!
I was honored to be asked and flown out to photograph their Special Day. I had sooooo much fun, bearing in mind we never formally met in person until the night before their big day. What a great couple, relaxed, fun, outgoing, extremely photogenic and an absolute pleasure to photograph. My first time in Phoenix, Austin picked out this great urban backdrop for us to head to for some creative portrait time, and what an eye she has, I got off the trolley and was instantly inspired! even the abandoned sports cup made it in the pictures :) along with some 'were married' beers :)
Congratulations Guys!!!! Happy Honeymooning In Thailand :)
Thank you to the super talented team of vendors who made this day so dreamy & perfect!!! and to Rachael for being my awesome, second photographer :D
Here are just some of my favorites from the day, there were so many!! SLIDESHOW coming soon!!!

Eye Love Anniversaries
Some of you may remember one of my blog posts from last year, celebrating the wedding of Rebecca and Adam.
Well today, is their first wedding anniversary! YAY! CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!
Rebecca and Adam were married at the San Francisco City Hall and while I was not there the day of, they did hire me afterwards to take their 'WE"RE MARRIED' portrait session, a wee treat from their parents. Which was awesome and lots of fun!
While I may not remember if I locked the door, or turned the iron off, I like to make sure I remember special dates :)
AGAIN, HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY GUYS

Linda & Angelo-Ardenwood Historic Farm
Linda and Angelo were married at the Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont.
What can I say, fantastic couple and fantastic location, I had alot of fun photographing their wedding day.
The farm grounds were just amazing and I had no problem finding some beautiful backdrops for their creative portraits.
It was then off to Ming's Restaurant in Palo Alto for their reception and a evening filled with entertainment. With the night concluding with the Groom himself, taking center-stage and doing a bit of the old breakdancing routine, twas awesome!!! Big thanks to Chris for second shooting :)
Congratulations!!! I hope you guys are thoroughly enjoying married life
Here are some of my favorites from Linda and Angelo's Day :)
Enjoy

Cupcake Proposal
I had the pleasure of recently photographing an editorial shoot for
Sweet Peony Custom Cakes.
Cupcakes are the latest MUST HAVE ACCESSORY at weddings right now and for good reason. OMG!! I was in a cupcake coma after our shoot, as Katie very kindly let our team take all the tasty 'cupcake models' home to devour :D DROOL!!! I shared though, really I did :) ask my friends who were invited over for a sampling afterwards :)
Katie Leaird is the mastermind and pastry chef behind Sweet Peony, a truly talented lady who was born to bake! From cupcakes to pastries, birthdays to weddings.....give Katie a call and set up your consultation for your wedding, party or upcoming event. You and all your guests can too be in sweet peony heaven!!!
Here are just some of my favorites from our shoot. Kudos to our beautiful models, Lydia Chen and Steven Brooks and to Heather Arcega, our fashion designer who designed and made our stunning dresses!! Thank you guys!
