AQUA SURF SHOP PRESENTS “COLORS OF EDEN”

Aqua Surf Shop had its fourth annual summer fashion show “Colors of Eden,” hosted by 111 Minna Gallery last nite and I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph the Fashion Show and Event.

The show and fundraiser is a benefit for Edgewood Center for Children and Families (Edgewood). Named “Colors of Eden” for its vibrant and highly stylized setting, this Event represents Aqua’s ongoing efforts to support Edgewood’s cause in the local community.

Edgewood Center for Children and Families (Edgewood) helps children and families take back their future by working with them to overcome severe challenges like abuse, neglect, mental illness, and family crisis. The oldest children’s charity in the western U.S., Edgewood has evolved to meet the community’s changing needs. What began as a refuge for Gold Rush orphans more than 150 years ago is now a nationally recognized, multifaceted agency. Edgewood serves more than 5,000 children and families in the Bay Area each year through community and residential programs.

Thanks to Lisa Beach at Aqua for putting this fantastic show on, it was a huge success and 111 Minna for Hosting. Not forgetting all the beautiful models, stylists and makeup gals to helped make this event an awesome nite!!!

I had a BLAST!!! Here are some of my fave shots from the evening!!

Please enjoy!

Liz and Jason- Santa Clara Mission

Liz and Jason tied the knot at the Santa Clara Mission 'absolutely stunning church' followed by their reception at the Faultline Brewery. 'Beer' :) Perfect location for a party!!

We thoroughly enjoyed their Wedding Day, great people, great food, great party (with lightsticks on the dancefloor, took me back to my Brit Clubbing Days :D) and we're pretty sure great beer, didnt have a beer but I think one of our guests in the last photo really enjoyed the beers on tap ;)

Congratulations Liz and Jason!!!

We hope you had a fantastic honeymoon xo

Im an AUNTIE!!! YAY

That is a purse/handbag size magazine, not sure if you get them in the US. Half the size of your regular magazine here, which will give you a rough estimate of how tiny she is :D

My sister just gave birth to a WEE GIRL JULY 3rd (I just got some pictures compliments of my mum :)

Mia Niamh McLaughlin

MIA, a short name for Maria meaning 'wished for child'
NIAMH pronounced 'neev' is an irish name meaning 'radiance, lustre, brightness and beauty'

Woohoo!!!

Good times!!

Congratulations, Karen, Steve and Big Brother Adam :D

Congratulations Debbie and John

Debbie and John got married June 21st and we were up with the birds super early to head down to San Jose to capture the first part of the day. Their traditional Vietnamese Ceremony. Which was beautiful!!

Then we all headed off to the Fairmont, San Jose for a huge party with a guest list of 350!!! The ballroom was absolutely stunning and awesome pink lighting.

We took soooooo many great shots, it was kinda like photographing two weddings in the same day, so it was really difficult to pick some for the blog, so please forgive me for posting so many, it was very hard to choose!! LOL

Slideshow coming soon, which will be fun to watch.

We are so lucky to work with such beautiful couples and these guys especially, we feel like we not only were lucky enough to be picked to be part of their day but we gained two new great friends in the process!

We look forward to checking out Beef 7 ways with Debbie and John next week.

Congratulations again guys!!!
