Cheralin & James - St Regis, San Francisco

Cheralin & James were married June 6th at the stunning St Regis Hotel in downtown San Francisco. Cheralin was such a beautiful Bride! Super cute couple!

We LOVE the St Regis, its such a perfect location for a modern wedding setting, the outdoor patio was the location for the ceremony, followed my cocktail hour and lots of yummy hors d'oeuvres and then a fantastic ballroom reception. Which thanks to the super creative and talented
Nancy Lui Chin and Got Light? looked absolutely STUNNING!!!

We were super excited to see Nancy listed on the vendor list, from the bouquets to the ballroom decor, everything was just beautiful. Looking for a top notch Florist? give Nancy a call, you will not be disappointed.

Such a fun Wedding, with the St Regis having so many great creative backdrops, we did all our creative portraits in and around the hotel. Which was AWESOME!!!

I was excited to see Anton at the wedding, he played a wedding I shot a few weeks back and these guys are awesome. Cocktail and Reception Entertainment by the super talented Anton Schwartz and his talented musicians.

Melissa & Joe's Big Day - Stanford Memorial Church, CA

Melissa & Joe tied the knot Memorial Day Weekend at the stunning Stanford Memorial Church, Palo Alto. I love shooting here, this church is just beautiful!

Jake and I had so much fun shooting Melissa & Joe. I joined close friends and family for the Rehearsal Dinner/BBQ the evening before which was great, as I got to know everyone before the big day. Baby Blues BBQ catered the rehearsal feast and it was delicious!!! If you haven't wrapped your gnashers round a baby blue bbq yet, I highly recommend giving them a visit at their Bernal Heights location :) Joes Band were the entertainment for the nite, performing for friends and family, which was AWESOME!!

After a beautiful ceremony we headed off to Menlo Park to the Iberia Restaurant, one of Melissa and Joe's favorite spots. Yummy Paella was cooked in the patio for guests to watch along with many bacon wrapped hors devours (my favorite) amongst others :) It was the perfect intimate setting for a wedding reception.

Happy 100TH Birthday Lala

Today is Grandmother Lala's 100th BIRTHDAY!!! Congratulations on such a wonderful birthday!!

Lala is my boxing partner and gal pal Danielle's GRANDMA!! When Danielle told me her Grandma was turning 100, I didn't hesitate in offering a portrait session of this very special occasion, not to mention a chance to meet this special lady!! What a sweetie she was, surrounded by lots of family and birthday wishes, smiles were all around. She even put on her lipstick for the pictures!! FANTASTIC!! and blew out every candle herself :)

Thanks so much for letting me celebrate in this HUGE BIRTHDAY celebration.

Earth Day 2009

Jake and I had the pleasure of photographing Shaklee's Earth Day event a few weeks back, in the honorable company of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dr. Wangari Maathai, 2004 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, founder of the Green Belt Movement, and A Million Dreams™ campaign and CEO of the Shaklee Corporation, Roger Barnett.

Shaklee began a tree-planting campaign across the United States and Canada on Earth Day 2006, encouraging the company's 750,000 Members and Distributors to organize tree-planting events at the grassroots level in their respective communities. This year's Earth Day marked the planting of the 1 million tree at Shaklee Headquarters.

It was a fabulous event to both witness and photograph :) One of our images was also featured in all its glory in Times Square, NY thanks to Puja, Shaklee's wonderful PR Lady, thanks gal!

We celebrate being Green here at the studio in numerous ways, our daily commutes are by bike or by foot (which is lovely) :) we get to weddings and photo assignments using Zipcar (a super awesome car-share service in the city-if you have'nt already joined, shoot us an email for a referral and some free driving credit when you sign up) and all our contracts are digital along with offering clients downloadable digital files versus paper prints, doing our part to be green :)
